Just thinking about it makes my mouth water. Its spicy and tangy, everything to make your senses awake.  Its the perfect dish with hot rice on a rainy day. 🙂

Ingredients :

  • Fresh grated coconut – 1/2 cup
  • Red dry chilli – 4
  • Green chilli – 1
  • Small red onion/ shallots – 1
  • Ginger – 1/2 ‘
  • Curry leaves – 1 stem
  • Tamarind / tamarind pulp – 1/2 lime size / 1 tsp

Method :

  1. Roast red chillies by holding them using thongs and keeping it on the live fire. It takes only a few seconds to roast the chills.
  2. After roasting add all the ingredients including the roasted chillies to a blender and pulse a few times.
  3. That’s it ! 🙂
