Serves: 4
  • 500g (cleaned shrimps/prawns)
  • 3 table spoon coconut oil
  • 1 garlic finely chopped
  • 1 small onion chopped / 5 small shallots chopped
  • 4 stems of fresh curry leaves
  • ¼ tsp sea salt
  • Dry powdered spices :
  • ⅛ tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 table spoon coriander powder
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • 1 tsp meat masala powder / garam masala powder
  1. In a hot pan heat oil, add garlic and onion chopped. Saute till it gets soft.
  2. Add in the curry leaves along with the dry powdered spices and fry for few seconds.
  3. Add in the shrimps / prawns and salt, mix carefully and spread it in the pan and cook till the prawns change its colour, turning once or twice.
  4. Once the prawns change its colour switch off the gas and the prawns will carry on cooking further.
