A simple sweet dish for your loved ones. It’s a minimum fuss, easy preparation for a busy day. A clean sweet dish, which won’t make you feel guilty after having it. I always try to achieve a healthy balance in all my dishes. And this semolina laddoo can be eaten for breakfast too ! I recommend keeping it in the fridge before using it.
Preparation time : 10 mts
Cooking time : 15 mts
Serves : 8 – 9 ladoos
Ingredients :
- 1/2 cup semolina
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 100ml milk
- 2 table spoon roasted grated coconut
- 2 cardamom pods
Method :
- In a hot dry pan add the semolina and ghee, roast it till the grains starts to separate and changes its colour to light brown.
- Once its roasted add in the sugar and allow it to melt and integrate with the semolina.
- Pour in the milk and continue string.
- Add in the coconut and cardamom seeds powder and mix one more time.
- Once slightly cooled make it into small balls.
